POTW #750
(Week of 19 December, 2010)

Thanks to Anna this week, for pointing me in a good direction on the title.

Malgamation

My brother's car has a post hole digger
And sonar for pinpointing gophers
His rifle plays podcasts when you pull the trigger
Stock quotes display on his loafers
His hammer uses a laser sight
His toothpaste tube links to Twitter
The fish tank converts to show opera at night
His hat is an infrared signal emitter
His home is a landfill of fanciful features
His gadgets have gadgets built in
Ungainly haphazard mechanical creatures
He feeds them and tends them and buys them again
A hey-neat factor petting zoo
A sink for his time and resources
With endless excuses to see and to do
To amuse him throughout his divorces

Check out "Ode to the Stuff in the Sink," Dave's illustrated book of "guy" verse (concerning the deeper philosophies of things like not doing the laundry, putting your feet on the furniture, and of course beer) at the Maximegalomporium (our store). And did I mention it was illustrated? Pictures!
