POTW #821

The simpler the poem, the more situations you can apply it to. Politics comes to mind for me, though it's not even remotely what I was thinking about when inspiration suggested that I write this.

Tantrum

I don't want to do it
You can't make me go
Stick that in your pipe and chew it
I said absolutely no

You are not the boss of me
I am not your slave
We live in a democracy
I don't have to do what you say

I know you are but what am I?
This is totally unfair
I hate you till the end of time
This sucks and you don't even care

I'll hold my breath until I die
Then finally you'll know
That you were wrong and I was right
You see? I told you so!
